The Canadian authorities have announced yesterday that it found the body of the young Moroccan student pilot that went missing last Wednesday night.
Last week the news of a 22-year old Moroccan student pilot, who flew a Cessna 172 aircraft and completely vanished, has put the Canadian authorities and the Moroccan community on the alert.
Three days later, Canadian news sources have announced that Canadian Forces have been able to locate the aircraft, and the Moroccan student, Hind Barch, was declared dead on site.
Hind Barch took off from Mirabel airport heading toward Sherbrooke, but she disappeared from radar screen, urging the Québec authorities to deploy 2 helicopters and two crafts to locate her.
The Moroccan community in Quebec particularly “closely followed the news and expressed their support for her family” stated Morocco’s embassy in Canada in a Mtweet.
